Of Reunions and Deflated Dream
I don't look forward to seeing them all again.
There's all the friends that I knew once
And have since had a gap of three months
To never see them change.
We're like the same species adrift
On different continents,
Changing and adapting to our new homelands
Forgetting who we were and who we are.
As I sit here musing on the changes I will see,
I wonder if maybe a few of them, won't like the new me
I've changed a lot. Three monthes is a long time
Just ask Kairos Alumnus what three nights can do.
I'm sure that at least one night,
We'll be back by the school
In the dark
With fire in our hands.
